     On the morning of December 9th, on the occasion of commemorating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up nationwide, the 5th China Industrial Award press conference was grandly held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The achievements of China National Building Materials Bengbu Glass Industry Design and Research Institute in the development and industrialization of key technologies and complete sets of equipment for ultra-thin touch glass, as well as the "Fuxing" China Standard Multiple Unit and the new generation nuclear submarine Eleven national projects, including the Fengyun series meteorological satellites, have jointly won the highest award in China's industrial field - the China Industrial Award Project Award, becoming the only award-winning project in China's materials field so far. Peng Shou, Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the International Glass Association, President of Bengbu Institute, and Director of the State Key Laboratory of New Technology for Float Glass, participated in the award ceremony as the award-winning representative of the project. This is also another honor that Bengbu Institute has received since Dean Peng Shou was awarded the Silicate Technology Innovation Leader Award by the American Ceramic Society in October this year.
